Aaron Mark Eiden, 2-year-old son of Matt and Beth Eiden of Cherokee, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cherokee, with Pastor Richard Arndt officiating. Burial will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Lake Fremont Cemetery at Dunnell, Minn. There will be a family prayer service at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, with the family present 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee.
Aaron was born July 14, 2004, in Cherokee, Iowa, to Matthew and Beth Rickords Eiden. He was baptized on Aug. 22, 2004, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cherokee.
He is survived by his parents, Matt and Beth Eiden of Cherokee; his three brothers, Noah, Caleb and Elijah Eiden at home; his maternal and paternal grandparents, Dennis and Jean Rickords of Copan, Okla. and Peter and Karen Eiden of Omaha; great-grandparents, Lindel and Mildred Rickords of Arkansas City, Kan. , Martin and Lois Ziemer of Dunnell, Minn. and William Casey of Eugene, Ore.; as well as many aunts and uncles and cousins.
