Opal W. Anderson, 85, of Bella Vista Ark. died Oct. 29 at the McDonald County Nursing Home in Anderson MO. She was born Feb. 10, 1910 in Onawa, Ia. to Merla and Clyde Welby Wilcoxin.
Opal moved to Bella Vista in 1977 from Iowa. She was a member of the Hiwasse Christian Church. For many years , she was a cashier at the Bella Vista Country Club and Bud's Family Style Chicken Restaurant. Until reecently, she lived with her daughter Barbara and her husband Keith Sangwin.
She is survived by a son, Harold K. (Bud) Jensen of Bentonville Ark.;a daughter Barbara and her husband Keith Sangwin of Bella Vista Ark.; A brother John F. Wilcoxon; a sister, Bernice Thiel and 8 grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Husband Guy Anderson and 4 brothers.
The funeral service was Thurs. Nov. 2 at the Hiwasse Christian Church in Hiwasse, Ark. with Rev. Keith Sangwin officiating. Burial following the Funeral Service at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
