AURELIA--- Services were held July 28 for Burt Mummert, 81, of Aurelia.
Buriel was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home. Mr. Mummert died July 24 at Sunset Knoll retirement Home here.
Burt was born Mar.7, 1902, in Afton Township to Frank and Pearl Mummert. On Feb. 21, 1928 he married Leone Burgess. Mr. Mummert was born and raised in Afton Township and farmed there until his retirement in 1966 when he moved to Aurelia. He was a life long member of the Congregational Church.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Donald Mummert of Aurelia; a daughter, Mrs. Jim ( Jeanne) Heuer, Beaver Dam Wisc.; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, and a brother Karl Mummert, Aurelia.
