John B. Kudrle, 62, of Alta, Ia. passed away Thus. Dec. 17, at his home in rural Alta, Ia.
Funeral services were held on Mon. Dec. 21, at 11:00a.m. from the Boothby funeral home in Cherokee. Pastor J. Bill Jenkins officiating and burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery
Jack was born on June 23, 1930 at Crookston Mn. to Clyde and Lois (Banister) Kudrle. He was married to Ruby Cogburn on Oct. 8, 1954 at Durant Okla. He had been a resident of Alta since 1963 and prior to that had lived in the Aurelia area. He had worked as a truck driver and farmer for many years retiring in 1983 due to heath reasons.
He was a veteran of the Korean war having served in Korea and Japan in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Alta Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Alta.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Ruby, and 1 daughter, Joan Grause and her husband James of Des Moines, Iowa, also 2 sisters, Mrs. Ruth Sexton of Newell and Margaret and her husband James Fitzpatrick of Davenport.
