Hallie Marie Fuller was born in Meriden, Ia. on Nov. 30, 1897 and passed away on Oct. 4, 1950 at St. Vincents Hospital In Sioux City , Ia, at the age of 52 years , 10 months and 4 days.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Fuller both having preceeded her in death.
Her early childhood was spent in Minneapolis Minn, but on Dec. 10, 1919 she was maried in Cherokee Ia. to Chester J. Scott. To this union was born 1 daughter, Marcella Ruth Scott. They made their home in Meriden, Ia. for 23 years before moving to Cherokee Ia. late in 1949.
In addition to her husband and daughter , she is survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. Nellie Gorman and Mrs. Carrie Cooney, both of Minneapolis. There are also a large number of relatives and friends to miss her from the family circle and the community.
Funeral services were held from the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Cherokee, Ia. with Rev H.G. McCoy officiating. Mrs. Scott was laid to rest in the Meriden Cemetery. The pallbearers were Roy Lamont, Alex Olson, Vernon Olson, Henry Jakso, Charles Pfalzgraf and Clarence Burkhart. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Boothby Funeral Home.
