The comminity was shocked on Tues. morning to hear of the death of Mrs. Clarence ( Gladys) Scott of Spring Township, Cherokee County Ia. The young couple were married about a year ago and commenced housekeeping at the present home. The young husband has the sympathy of the entire community.
Gladys Grace Dunn was born to Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Dunn on Oct-13-1895 and died Jan-26-1916. On Mar-3-1915 she married Clarence D. Scott. To this union a son , James Wendell Scott, was born on Jan. 19, 1916.
