Dorothy J. Lundberg, 82, of South Sioux City passed away Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006 at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Dakota City United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Robert Call officiating. Burial will be in Dakota City Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Becker-Hunt Funeral home.
Dorothy was born July 2, 1924, in Cherokee County, Iowa, the daughter of George E. and Cora O. Clark.
She married Kenneth Lundberg on July 4, 1948, in Van Nuys, Calif. Kenneth died Dec. 12, 1974, in Sioux City. Dorothy was employed as a secretary at the Dakota County Court House in Dakota City, retiring in 1988.
She was a member of Dakota City United Methodist Church for 50 years, American Legion Auxiliary, NCIP Group of Dakota City, Friends of the Library and the Firemen's Auxiliary of Dakota City for 41 years.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Paul and Pat Lundberg of Sergeant Bluff, and Kenneth "Butch" and Cheri of Ottumwa, Iowa; three daughters and their husbands, Jeanine and Jim Bliven of Dakota City, Jeanell and Kenneth Adams of Homer, Neb., and Joanne and Mike Chedester of St. Clairsville, Ohio; nine grandchildren; many stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many great-stepgrandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, George, Jim, Roger, Eddie, Donald and Robert Clark; and a great-stepgrandson, Jacob Woerdemann.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Mark Bliven Chris and Joe Harris, Ty and Tate Lundberg, Domie Mandicino and Travis Polly.
