Mrs. Edith Blake, wife of B.O. Blake, was born at Randolph, Maine, Apr.13, 1871. She died at Eldon Ia. Sept. 7, 1901 She was 30 years of age.

Mr. and Mrs. Blake were married at Gardiner Ma. July 11, 1900. They came to Pierson, Ia , where they made their home until movimg to Eldon a few months ago. To Mr. and Mrs. Blake a daughter was born Monday Sept., 2 and the mother passed away Sat. The baby is a healthy baby girl and is doing fine.

Christian Science Services were held at the Blake home in Eldon, after which the remains were buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee, Rev's Magaret T., and Rett E. Olmstead of the Unitarin Church, the deceased being a member of the Uniterian Church of Gardiner Maine.
