Mrs. Garland ( Vera) Demaree, 42, died at 3:15a.m., Wed. Nov.9, 1960 at Alta after an extended Illness.
Her home for the past 19 years has been Bremerton, Wash. Prior to that time she lived in the Cherokee and Aurelia communities. Survivors are her husband Garland of Bremerton; 1 son Brien, and 1 daughter, Maree Ann, both at home; 1 sister, Mrs. Orville ( Betty) Watt, Alta and 1 brother, Dale Crane Aurelia. Her father L. J. Crane also survives.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs Mae Crane and a brother Harold ( Bud ) Crane who was killed in WWII. Funrtal services will be held Fri., Nov 11 at 2p.m.from the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee. Rev. Forrest Flowers will officiat and buriel will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee
