Mrs. Eva Crane , 75, died Fri. in Cherokee. She made her home at 208 N. 5th St, She was born Feb.5, 1894 in Des Moines. She was a charter member of the VFW Aux. and WRC Aux., and also a member of the Degree Of Honor.
She is surived by 1 sister, Mrs. K.F Barnett, Bremerton Wash., a daughter i-in-law, Mrs. Shirly Crane of Huntington Beach Calif., 3 Grand-Children, and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by 2 sons. Sgt Ernie Crane who was killed in action during WW II in North Africa, and Lyle Crane of Huntington Beach, Calif.
