Mrs. Lettie Pearl Jones
Mrs. Lettie Pearl Jones, 81, died Thursday, October 16 at 1:30 a.m. in Cherokee after a five week’s illness.

Her home was at 421 West Cherry Street. She had lived in Cherokee all of her life.

She is survived by three daughters and three sons. They are: Mrs. Richard Niles and Mrs. Nelson Phipps, both of Cherokee, Mrs. Ray Campbell of Belle Gardens, Calif., Guy H. Jones, Bondurant, IA, Kerne E. Jones of Cherokee, Vern C. Jones, Paullina. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. James Cary of Cherokee and one brother, Sam Campbell of Quimby.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Jones on January 1, 1917 and one son, Ellis Charles Jones November 20, 1935.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 18 from Boothby Funeral home. The Rev. J. E. Feller officiated and burial was in Aurelia, Cemetery.
