Lewis Crane. 91 passed away Tues. Feb. 25th 1986 at the Sioux Valley Hospital in Cherokee.
His home was on a farm in Spring Twp.
He was born July 7, 1894 at Ida Grove ia. He was married to Mae Elizabeth Parks on Jan. 21, 1914. He had farmed on the present farm for 65 years. He also was well known as a buyer and seller of horses.
He is suvuved by 1 son Dale and his wife, Leone of Aurelia and 1 daughter , Betty Watt and her husband Orville of Sgt. Bluffs. A son-in law Garland Demaree of Wasington State, Seven grand-children and 8 Great-Grand-Children
He was preceded in death by his wife on May 14, 1959, A son Harold (Bud) was killed in action during WW II in 1944, a daughter Vera Demaree in 1960 also 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services were held, Feb 27 th at 2:00 P.M. from the Boothby Funeral Home with Mr. Owen B Wilmot officiating and buriel was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
