Charlene DeAun McKinnis, 81, of Aurelia, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006. A funeral service at Mt Olive Baptist Church, 6080 S Avenue, Cherokee, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 30 at 10:30 a.m. A memorial service at Grandview Christian Home, 135 Fern Street N., Cambridge Minn. will follow on Oct. 24, 2006 at 10:15 a.m. in the Main Chapel.

Charlene devoted her life to her faith, family and music. A graduate of St. Olaf College she was the music and choir director for numerous churches including First Baptist, Minneapolis. and Minnetonka Community Church. She was a lifetime member of the Schubert Club. Charlene and husband Harley, deceased, dedicated ten years of their life to supporting Wycliffe Bible Translators in Mexico.

Memorials are preferred with gratitude to Grandview Christian Ministries Benevolent Fund.
