Eddie Zupp

Clifford "Eddie" Zupp, 50, of Nicholasville, Ky., formerly of Sioux City, died Monday, May 22, 2006, in Nicholasville following a brief illness.

Eddie was born July 7, 1955, in Cherokee, Iowa, to Clifford "Bud" Zupp and Marion (Morrison) Zupp. He attended Sioux City schools until the age of 16, when he moved to Kentucky. Following high school graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served in Rapid City, S.D. Following his military discharge, he was a shrimp boat fisherman in Morgan City, La., an electrician on oil rigs in the Gulf and then self-employed for many years in Nicholasville.

Survivors include his wife, Jane of Nicholasville; a daughter and her husband, Amber and Brent of Florida; his mother, Marion Crowther of Sioux City; a sister, Cindy Gray of Sioux City; two brothers, Blaine Zupp and Brent Zupp, both of Le Mars, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford "Bud" Zupp.
