MERIDEN MENTIONS

Mrs. Geo. Bretz died at her home in this place, on last Thursday. She was 68 years old, and had been in quite good health all winter, until three weeks ago, when grippe claimed her as its victim. She was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church and died trusting in Him whom she had so faithfully served while here on earth. The funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church on Friday, and were conducted by Rev. Graham. The remains were laid away in the Meriden Cemetery. The relatives have the sympathy of all in their great loss.
