Sudden Death Near Marcus.

Marcus News: On Wednesday forenoon, Mr. W.R. Bartlett, who lives about 4 miles south of town, walked to his son’s house and back again, a distance of about five blocks. Arriving at his home, he sat down, spoke to his wife about a wagon and threw his head back as was his habit when about the cough, but failed to make the effort. Noticing the act, his wife asked him if he couldn’t cough. Upon receiving no reply, she went nearer and found her aged husband passed peacefully and suddenly through the portals of death. This was the way he has often wished to be the manner of his demise.
