MARRIED

WILSON-ROBERTSON

At the residence of the bride’s parents in Cherokee, Tuesday, Dec. 24, 1889, Rev. J. MacAllister officiating. Mr. A.S. Wilson and Miss Isabella Drummond Robertson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Robertson.

This interesting ceremony was performed at 6 o’clock last evening in the presence of a number of relatives and friends of the contracting parties. After the ceremony a fine wedding supper was served and warm congratulations showered upon the happy couple, each of whom ought to feel proud of their Christmas present.

The bride is known to almost everybody in Cherokee, having resided here since the “early days.” For a number of years she has been a teacher in the county and city schools, and has a host of friends who will wish her all happiness imaginable. The groom has been in the employ of C.B. Holden for several years, and is a gentleman possessing qualities that make him worthy of good fortune in all things.
