At the Presbyterian parsonage Sept. 17, 1890 by the Rev. J. MacAllister, Mr. Chas. Ladd and Miss Ada Barker, all of Cherokee, Iowa.

The bridal party, including relations and select friends, walked in procession from the residence of Mr. Wm. Davis on Piety Hill to the parsonage, near at hand. The bride walked with her father and looked very handsome, in appropriate costume, and the traditional veil. The groom having been long enough in Cherokee to secure Miss Barkers’ heart and hand, has opened a store in Correctionville, whither the young couple went by the noon train to enter upon the joys and cares of housekeeping and business.
