MARRIED

KREGER-RODDIS-At the home of the bride’s parents, in Sheridan township, by the Rev. J. MacAllister, Mr. E.A. Kreger of Manilla and Miss M. L. Roddis of Cherokee county.

The marriage was celebrated out of doors, in the presence of a select circle of friends, after which the company sat down to an ample and excellent repast, then rambled amid the beauties of this attractive farm. Mr. Kreger is a young man who stood well in his college (Ames Agricultural College.) Here he held for a year the rank of major in the Iowa National guard. He has the law in view as his life profession, but is now superintendent of the public school at Manilla. Miss Mae Roddis is well known as an excellent teacher and a bright and accomplished young lady. We wish them much joy.
