FARNSWORTH-HORNIBROOK-At St. John’s church, Cherokee, Jan. 1, 1890, Mr. Nathan Farnsworth of Correctionville and Miss Fanny Hornibrook of Cherokee. Rev. L.D. (unreadable) officiating.

This event has been looked forward to with great interest by friends of the contracting parties, and th ceremony at 9 o’clock this morning was witnessed by a large number of people, including a number of friends from out of town. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents.

The groom is a brother of Mrs. R.H. Scribner of this city and for the past two years has been engaged in the banking business at Correctionville. The bride is the eldest daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Edward Hornibrook of this city, and it is a sufficient compliment to the groom if it be said he is worthy of the girl he has been given for a life companion.

As the wedding festivities are scarcely over as we go to press further mention of the particulars is impossible.
