MARRIED.

FORD-PIERCE-At the Catholic church in this city, Tuesday, Feb. 3rd, at 10 a.m., Rev. Father Sauders officiating, Mr. Michael Ford of Cherokee, and Miss Mary Pierce of Larrabee.

Miss Kate Pierce was bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Mr. M. Mansfield. The groom has been employed in the Cherokee round house for the past two years, and is a young man respected by all who have the pleasure of his acquaintance. The bride is the daughter of Mr. Jas. Pierce of Larrabee, and is a young lady of many good qualities, which has caused her to be loved and respected by all, and Mr. Ford is to be congratulated on his good fortune in winning so noble a bride. A wedding dinner was served the bridal party and a few friends and relatives at the home of the bride’s parents. The young couple departed on a two weeks trip to Vermillion, South Dakota, after which they will live on the groom’s farm near Holstein, Ida county. They have the congratulations of a host of friends who wish them God speed over the matrimonial sea, and trust it will never be as stormy as was their wedding day.
