Update:

I have received records from St. Mary's Orphanage in Dubuque, Iowa indicating that Margaret Sweeney was "sent to a State Hospital (Insane)" and four of her girls (Eunice, Anna, Margaret and Marie) arrived at St. Mary's on June 30th, 1888.

Question:

Does anyone out there know if any records exist for the Cerro Gordo County Poor Farm? If so, where are they maintained and can they be requested?
