DENNIS, WICKERSHAM, HOFFMAN, HILLEARY

I am needing information on William M. DENNIS. He may have been in Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, IA in December of 1868. I have a charm, fob, etc. shaped like a shield with an eagle wrapped 3 times in ribbon. The ribbon has "W.M. Dennis, Mason City, Iowa" written on it. The eagle is holding what appears to be 3 arrows in it's right talon. The back bears the date December 29, 1868. I would appreciate any information on this item as well. William was born in 1832 in PA, served as Green county representative in the Wisconsin Territory Legislature, married Mariba Taylor WICKERSHAM in Green County, WI in 1859. Their son, Clinton Eugene DeWitt DENNIS, was born 30 Jan 1860 in Maryville, Nowaday County, MO. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
