This family appears in the 1900 Mason, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa Census: John A. BOWER, born Mar 1864 in Iowa, age 36, married 2 years; Wife, Iva L., born Jul 1872 in Iowa, age 27. Children listed (some of the elder children must be from earlier marriages of both parents); Olive V., born Apr 1886 in Iowa, age 14; Elmer M., born Aug 1894 in Canada, age 5; Lucile D., born Feb 1897, in Iowa, age 3; Vera L. J____, born 1898 in Iowa, age 1; Vernon C., born Dec 1899 in Iowa. I believe John BOWER is the son of John BOWER who was born in 1831 in Enlgand and Elizabeth SPRINGER who was born in 1829 in Fayette County, PA. I am seeking further details – complete dates and location - for a family book.
