Funeral Rites to Be Friday Morning at Holy Family Church

Miss Rose L. Kelsh, 49, died at a local hospital at 11:30 o’clock Tuesday evening following a
brief illness. She had been in poor health for several months.

Miss Kelsh was born Nov. 21, 1891, at Dougherty, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kelsh.
She had resided in Mason City for the past 13 years.

Surviving Miss Kelsh are six sisters: Mrs. D. E. Campbell, 509 Jefferson Avenue Northwest,
Mrs. M. J. Beecher, 615 Madison Avenue Northwest; Mrs. Leo Donnelly, 205 Fourth Street Northeast; Mrs. Florence Thomas, Colorado Springs Colo., Miss Viola, Coon Rapids, Iowa, and Mrs. Evelyn O’Connor, Fort Dodge, and three brothers, Edmund, George and Matt Kelsh, Dougherty.

Miss Kelsh was preceded in death by her parents, her mother on Oct. 13, 1925 and her father
March 6, 1931.

She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church of Mason City, the Joyce Kilmer Club
and the Catholic Daughters.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:30 o’clock at the Holy Family Catholic Church
with Father R. P . Murphy in charge. Burial will be at the Dougherty cemetery.

The body was taken from the Patterson Funeral Home to the Kelsh residence, 615 Madison Avenue Northwest, where the Rosary will be said at 8 o’clock Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

The Rosary also will be said by the members of the Catholic Daughters at the home at 7:30 o’clock Wednesday evening and by the Joyce Kilmer club at 8:30 o’clock Thursday evening.
