Rites for Pioneer of Cerro Gordo Held in Centerville Church.

ROCKFORD, Feb. 25. -- Funeral services for Hugh Patrick COYLE, were held at St. John's Catholic church at Centerville, in charge of the Rev. P. J. LAVALETTE, pastor. The Rev. Father O'HAGEN of Rockwell was present.

Mr. COYLE was born at Tete De Morts, Iowa, on July 24, 1864. He remained there 14 years and in 1878 went with his parents [Daniel and Ann COYLE] to Cerro Gordo County and settled on a farm in Owen Township

He is survived by his widow [Bridget McMENIMEN] and five daughters, Mrs. Frank [Annabelle] KIRK, Rockwell; Mrs. Fred [Leocadia Grace] CALAHAN, Dougherty; Mrs. Harold [Marie] ECKES, Oelwein; Mrs. Vern [Maye] LEIGH, Rockford; and Mrs. Francis [Rose] COOLING, Nora Springs; three sons, Dan of Rockwell, and John and Hugh of Rockford; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah BELL, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Rose COYLE, Mason City; and one brother, J. F. COYLE, Sauke Center, Minn.

The pallbearers were Henry CAHILL, George WALSH and Edgar TOINBY, Mason City, John MULLEN, Dan McLAUGHLIN and Thomas McMENIMEN, Dougherty.

The choir included the following nieces and nephews: Miss Lenore CAHILL, Henry and Joseph CAHILL, Mason City; Mr. and Mrs. John CAHILL, Rockwell; Mr. and Mrs. Paul HINCH, Centerville and Joseph McLAUHLIN, Dougherty.

NOTE: Hugh Patrick COYLE died on February 19, 1932, aged 67 years. He was interred at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dougherty.
