DOUGHERTY -- Anna A. DOUGHERTY, 68, of Dougherty, died Tuesday at a Mason City nursing home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dougherty. Monsignor John THORNTON will officiate, and burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's School Chapel, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, Mason City, is in charge of arrangements.

A member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dougherty, she was a graduate of St. Patrick's School and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and Rosary Society there. She attended St. Catherine's College, St. Paul, Minn.

Miss DOUGHERTY worked as a postal clerk at the Dougherty Post Office for 31 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the American Postal Workers Union.

Survivors include three sisters, Edna DOUGHERTY, Mason City; Gladys DOUGHERTY, Dougherty; and Mrs. Margaret V. RAMKER, Greene.

NOTE: Anna A. DOUGHERTY was born circa 1910, the daughter of Bernard S. "Barney" and Ellen "Ella" (MULLEN) DOUGHERTY.
