Lester C. Ted Bailey died Saturday Jan. 7, 1995 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home Mason City Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rolling Acres Free Methodist Church With Rev. Wayne Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and until noon Wednesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church.
Lester C. "Ted" Bailey was born March 17, 1908, the son of Harrison C. and Mary Rosella (Sears) Bailey in Sand Creek Oklahoma.
As a child, he moved with his family to Sheffield and then to Mason City.
He attended schools in Shffield and Mason City and graduated from Mason City High School. He then attended Hamilton School of Business.
Ted Worked for Rozen Chevrolet and Jacob E. Decker and Sons. He then worked for the Northwestern States Portland Cement Company as a foreman of the carpentry department for 34 years, retiring in 1971.He married Blanche A. Nelson on June 17, 1934 in Des Moines, Iowa.
He was a member of the Rolling Acres Free Methodist Church, where he served in various capacities.
Survivors include:his wife, Blanche of Mason City
one son Robert and wife Myrtle, of Bellevue, Neb,
two daughters:
Margartet Bryant (Seth A.) Charles City, Iowa
Waneta M. (long) Bagger (Richard) Newman Grove, Neb.
five grandsons,

Julius Bryant
three great-grandchildren
Jennifer
