Tarr Rites on Wednesday

Clear Lake- Funeral services for Ralph Wesley Tarr, 55, 811 N. 10th St., will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Ward Funeral Home.
The Rev. H. E. Timble, pastor of the Christian Church, will officiate. He will be assited by the Rev. W. Tarr, Cedar Falls, nephew of the deceased.

Mr. Tarr died early Saturday morning in the hospital from injuries received in a car accident on Highway 18 near the County Home.
The accident occurred shortly after midnight. He was alone in the car.

Ralph Tarr was born July 16, 1901, at Armstrong, the son of William and Alice Tarr. He attended school at Wolcott, N.D.

On Jan. 27, 1916, he was married to Ruth French of Clear Lake by the Rev. W. B. Milne, pastor of the Congregational Church. He had lived in Clear Lake the last 35 years. He was a member of the Christian Church.

Tarr was active in most types of sports, having played softball and baseball with Clear Lake teams for many years and in late years umpired baseball.

Surviving are his widow, seven sons and two daughters. The son, Marvin Tarr and his wife arrived Sunday to be present at the services.
