GONE TO HER REWARD
Mrs. J. M. Brady Passed Away Last Sunday Morning
at 10:30.

The home of James M. Brady and family was made happy last Sunday morning by the birth of a little baby girl which came to bless their home.

The little one was born at 7 o'clock, but alas.
Three and one half hours later that same home-
the father and the children was cast into a shadow of profound grief, for God had seen best to call the mother unto his fold.
Miss Regena Cooney was born at Lawler, Iowa, September 5, 1878, and resided there until her marriage to James M. Brady on November 17, 1907, when they moved to Dougherty.

In all the writer's experience we have never been called upon to chronicle a death which leaves a pall of sadness as does the death of Mrs. Brady.
She was a staunch and true member of the Catholic church and always lived up to the faith.
That she should be taken from the father and the children- those dear children whom she loved and cherished, is a blow to the husband that time, and time only will erase. The children, too young to realize what a mother's care is to them, and the little babe, who will never know a mother's love, are among the many sorrows which now confront the grief-striken husband.
As the little children left for school, or as they left to play, with a good-bye kiss from mama they have always had a mother's love, care and guiding hand-now the mother has been taken away never to return, and the husband and father,
whose grief knows no bounds is called upon to mourn her loss. Willingly and gladly would he have sacrificed everything and started life's battles anew to have saved her life, but God had seen best to take her away to a land where all is peace and rest.

Deceased was a member of the Veronica League and the Royal neighbors, and was 38 years, 8 months and 15 days of age at the time of her death.

She leaves to mourn her death her husband, James M. Brady, and children, Francis Russell, Mary Maxine, Virgil James, William Raymond and infant daughter who has been christened Regena May. She also leaves to mourn her loss her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Cooney of New Hampton, five brothers and four sisters, namely, Peter Cooney of New Hampton, Philip Cooney of St. Cloud, Minn., Louis Cooney, John Cooney and Earl Cooney of Lawler, Mrs Agnes Bold and Mrs. Rita Sullivan
of Buffalo, Mrs Estella Peters of New Hampton, and Mrs Clair Brewer of Postville, all of whom were present at the funeral except Philip Cooney and Mrs. Estella Peters.
Other relatives from a distance who were present at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John Conney, Peter Cooney, Paul Martin, Patrick Colwell and Mr. and Mrs Thomas Stanton of Lawler, Margaret Cooney and Chas. Peters of New Hampton and Mr. and Mrs. George Brady of Belmond.

Funeral services were held at Saint Patrick's church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, and were conducted by the Rev. Father P.D. O'Reilly who celebrated High Mass, and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery adjacent to the church.

The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the heartbroken family and relatives in this-
their darkest hour of sorrow and grief.
