Mrs Michael Wade Dead

Mrs. Michael Wade died at the home of her daughter Mrs. T. J. Fitzpatrick, at Dubuque, Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock of heart disease and other complications.

Her children were all present during her last hours. The remains arrived at her late home in Dougherty Tuesday noon, accompanied by her immediate family and relatives, who were met at the depot by a large number of sympathizing friends and neighbors.

The funeral services were held in St.Patrick's
church Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. and were largely attended by friends and old neighbors of the deceased, many coming from Greene and all over Butler Co., Rockwell and Mason City,to pay their
last tribute to a woman of worth.

A Requiem High Mass, was said with Father Dougherty, of Dubuque celebrant, assisted by Fathers Fitzpatrick, of Marshalltown, and Sheey, of Greene, with Father O'Reilly as leader, and who also preached a splendid sermon.

The remains were laid to rest in St. Patrick's cemetery beside those of her beloved husband, who died March 9th. last.
Mrs. Wade was aged about 70 years.
