Death of Robert Mullen

Old and Respected Citizen of Dougherty Called in Death.

Word was received in Mason City this morning of the death of Robert Mullen of Dougherty. Death was due to infirmities of an advanced age. He was born in Illinois 81 years ago.

Mr. Mullen is survived by four sons and four daughters who are: John, Charles, Daniel and Walter Mullen, and Mrs. B.J. Dougherty, Mrs. Barney Dougherty, Mrs Mike McGee and Mrs. H. H. Abegg.

Funeral services will be held at the Catholic church in Dougherty at 10 Wednesday morning and burial will be made in the Catholic cemetery there.

Mr. Mullen was well known all over Cerro Gordo county and territory contiguous to Dougherty as a virile man of strong and straightforward convictions.

Mrs. Mullen has been dead several years.
