FLYNN, BARRAGY, KELSH, OBRIEN, MCCONLOGUE

Death has again made its rounds and this time has claimed as its prize one of the noblest and purest of wives and mothers.

Just as the shadows of light were closing a beautiful day on the 5th of October, 1905, Mrs Georgia M. Flynn, wife of P.H. Flynn, departed this life at the home in Minnesota to join the unknown majority beyond.

Mrs. Flynn was born in McGregor on August 10th, 1871 and moved with her parents, the late John Barragy of Rockwell, Iowa, (missing).

In this county she grew to young womanhood and after taking a course at Decorah College taught school a few terms in this county and was married in 1891 to Mr. P.H. Flynn of Floyd County.

Mr and Mrs Flynn lived in Floyd and Cerro Gordo counties until four or five years ago, when they sold their farm and purchased a fine farm near Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

The death of Mrs Flynn is especially sad as she leaves six little boys, the oldest of which is about twelve years of age.

Words are not at our command to pay the true tribute to this noble woman. Always kind and modest and always solicitous of the comfort of others, she left a record with those who knew her well that is worth far more than can be measured by wealth. Singularly attached to her home, her children and her husband, the loss to these three is irreparable.

She has left to mourn, her good mother, Mrs Ann J. Barragy, her brothers, B. J. Barragy and C. G. Barragy of Rockwell, Iowa, Victor J. Barragy, of Butte, Montana, and her sisters, Mrs. Matt Kelsh of Cerro Gordo County and Mrs Maggie J. O'Brien of St. Paul.

She was the youngest sister of the late Mrs. J.H. McConlogue.

Her mother, brothers, and sisters together with her niece, Miss Anna Mae McConlogue have gone to Sauk Centre to attend the funeral.

An unselfish community extends sympathy to the father and motherless children.
