Dougherty- Graveside services will be at 2 this afternoon at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Dougherty, for John F. Dolan Jr. 66, of Cedar Rapids, who died Wednesday (May 16, 1984) at a Cedar Rapids Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 9 this morning at St. Matthes's Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, with the Rev. Gerald Condon officiating.

Military Rites will be conducted after the funeral service by American Legion Hanford Post No. 5.

Two rosary services were held Sunday at Steward Funeral Home Cedar Rapids.

The Rev. John Thorton, pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dougherty, will officiate at the graveside service.

Mr. Dolan was born Oct. 16, 1917 in Dougherty to John and Elizabeth (Brinkman) Dolan.

He married Mercedes Walsh on Aug. 18, 1961 in Vail. He was employed by the federal government in the government Services Agency and had lived in Cedar Rapids since 1959.

Survivors include his wife, Mercedes, two daughters, Mrs. Alan (Colleen) Anderson, Denver, Colo., and Mercedes Dolan, Minneapolis; four sons, Quinn, Chicago, and John, Kevin, and Tiernan, all of Cedar Rapids; three grandsons; two sisters, Mary Dolan, Nora Springs, and Carmilla Ulrich, Brookfield, Wis. and two brothers, Adrian, Marble Rock and Leonard, Daytona Beach, Fla.
