John Forrett Dies in Hospital
Services Thursday 9 a.m., Dougherty

John "Jack" Forrett, 62, longtime resident of Dougherty died in a local hospital early Monday night.

Funeral services have been set for Thursday at 9 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Dougherty.
The Rev. Paul J. Maquire, pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot at Dougherty.

The body will lie in state at his home in Dougherty after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Parish Rosaries will be said in the home on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.

Forrett was born on June 14, 1887, at Cascade, the son of Peter and Barbara Forrett.He was a carpenter by trade and had resided in the Dougherty vicinity for 53 years. He was never married.

Surviving are four sisters and one brother. Mrs. Barney Campbell, Mrs. Ann Campbell, Mrs. Ray Holding, Mrs Marge Mullen and Ben Forrett, all of
Dougherty. He was preceded in death by one sister.

The Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
