Mrs J. Burke Dies Suddenly
Rites at St. Patrick's Church Wednesday

Clear Lake- Mrs Julia Burke, 65, died suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Don O'Neil, Camp Grounds, early Monday morning of a heart attack. She had not been well for a few days but became very ill Sunday evening and died in a few hours. The body is at Ward's.

Requiem High Mass will be held for Mrs Burke at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning. The Rev. J.J. Buzynski, pastor will conduct the mass.
Burial will be at Iowa City. The rosary will be said at Ward's funeral home at 8 o'clcok both Monday and Tuesday evenings.

Mrs Burke was born Julia Walsh at Iowa City Oct. 20, 1879 and grew to womanhood in that locality. She was married to William T. Burke of Clermont, Oct. 20, 1902 and they lived at Tipton and Dougherty, Mr Burke being agent for the Chicago, Northwestern railroad until his death Nov. 8, 1932.

Besides Mrs O'Neil, Mrs Burke is survived by another daughter, Mrs Margaret Ryan, 406 First Street, N. W., Mason City, and a son Leo Burke, Portland Ore., two grandchildren, Jerry O'Neil
and Pat Ryan; three sisters, Mrs. Andrew Black, and Mrs L. P. Graham, Iowa City and Mrs Kate Smith, Monticello; two brothers, Tom Walsh, Iowa City, and Edward Walsh, Morning Sun, and other more distant relatives.

A daughter, Kathryn, died in 1940.

Mrs. Burke was a member of St. Patrick's church and the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters.
