Mrs M. J. Bamrick died at her home one and one-half miles north of town, on Monday Feb. 12, 1912, and was buried Wednesday morning in the family lot at St. Patrick's cemetery, Rev. P. D. O'Reilly officiating.
Mrs. Bamrick or Rose as she was familiarly called by everyone, who knew her died fortified by the last rites of the Catholic church of which she was a lifetime member.
Mrs. Bamrick leaves to mourn her loss an aged father and step-mother besides her husband and children. The children are: Ella Evealine, Martin James; Catherine Regina, Mary Agnes who preceded her to the grave eight years ago; Michael Albert; Rose Lucile and the twins, Marie Agnes and Marie Anna.
Four brothers and two sisters also survive her.
They are: John, Mary, Michael, Joseph, Anna and Patrick Murphy who with the parents reside near Farley town.Rosetta Murphy was born near Farley, Dubuque County, Iowa, August 21, 1872, therefor her age was 39 years and 6 months at the time of her death.
Rose Murphy was married to M. J. Bamrick, September 11, 1895 and came to Cerro Gordo County, where the family continually made their home. Rose Bamrick was a kind hearted mother and a loving friend. Her home was a refuge for all the needy and anyone who called for help never called in vain.
Rose will not only be missed by her immediate family but by everyone who knew her.
May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
A voice we loved is still
A place is vacant in our home
That never can be filled.
