GENE MURPHY DIES AT HOME

Dougherty- George Murphy, 61, died at his home Friday morning at 6 o'clock from a heart attack.
Mr Murphy who ran the Standard Oil station, was born in Dougherty, April 1, 1885.
Funeral services will be held at St. Patrick's church Monday morning at 9 o'clock with Father T. J. Mequire in charge. (P. J. McGuire). Burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter, Sister Mary Jean, Dubuque, two brothers, Pat., Mason City and Gene Dougherty, and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Donnelly, Mason City, and Miss Bridget Murphy, Dougherty.
