Albert Nixt, bellman at hotel dies.

Albert M. Nixt, 71, bellman at the Hotel Hanford, died Saturday at a Mason City hospital. He had lived in the community 30 years and made his home at 820 11th N.E.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, a son, Thomas A. Nixt, Mankato, Minn., a stepson, Robert E. Varner, Mankato, Minn., two brothers, Louis Nixt, Marble Rock, and Thomas Nixt, St. Louis, Mo., two sisters, Regine Nixt, Waterloo, and Mrs Arthur (Marie Theresa) Christie, Norwalk, Mass., and two granchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Visitation at the Patterson-James Chapel will be after noon Monday.
