GENE MURPHY RITES HELD AT DOUGHERTY

Funeral Services for Gene Murphy, 71, were held Friday at St. Patrick's church at Dougherty. The Rev. Joseph Murphy, a nephew, read the Requiem High Mass.
Mr. Murphy is survived by 2 sisters, Bridget of Dougherty and Mrs Ed. Donnelly of Mason City, and a brother, Pat of Mason City. Several brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Out of town relavites attending the funeral were Leo Hogan of Chicago, Cletus Kelly of Minneapolis; Mrs. Gene Smith of Manitowoc, Wis., and Kate Spalla of Britt.
Pallbearers were 5 nephews, Leo Donnelly, Will Kelly, Edward Murphy, Walter Murphy, Dan Hogan, and James Hogan.
Burial was at the Dougherty cemetery.
