MASON CITY -- Kenneth J. Graham, 87, of 534 12th St. S.E., Mason City, died Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rolling Acres Free Methodist Church, with the Rev. Wayne Ryan, former minister of Rolling Acres Free Methodist Church, and the Rev. Larry Day officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery on Tuesday. Visitation was held on Tuesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City.

Memorials may be directed to the Rolling Acres Free Methodist Church in his name.

Kenneth J. Graham was born on Oct. 29, 1913, in Whittemore, the son of Jay D. and Clara M. (Matson) Graham. He grew up and attended grade school in Minnesota. They later moved to Burt, where he graduated from high school. He worked and lived in Burt until 1941, when he moved to Mason City.

He was united in marriage to Ruth Mjones on Sept. 12, 1943, in Mason City. Following her death he met and married Ila M. Wagoner Bailey. They were united in marriage on July 1, 1961, in Yakima, Wash. He worked for 32 years as a custodian for the United States Postal Services, retiring in 1976. He was a member of Rolling Acres Free Methodist Church and NAFRE.

Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Phyllis Lindburg and husband, Paul, of Great Falls, Mont.; two sons, Phillip Graham and wife, Nancy, of Billings, Mont., and Ralph Graham and wife, Vicky, of Prairie Village, Kan.; two step-daughters, Judy Beenken and husband, Roger, of Nora Springs and Rose Marie Koffkey, of Stanwood, Wash.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; three brothers, Glen Graham and wife, Vera, of Algona, Leslie Graham and wife, Donna, Marshalltown, and Melvin Graham and wife, Rosella, of Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Maxine Mitchell and husband, Ray, of Greeley, Colo., Joyce Bey and husband, Paul, of Temple Hills, Md., and Helen Olsen and husband, Christy, of Rochester, Minn.; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Reeve Eldridge and wife, Maxine, of Clear Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Ruth Mjones, in 1959; and second wife, Ila Graham, in 2000; brothers, Merweyn Graham and Joe Graham; and sister, Lois Emmert.
