July 01, 1996MASON CITY -- Rufino (Rudy) Heredia, 39, of 115 16th St. N.E., died Thursday (June 27, 1996).
No services will be held in Mason City. Services will be held in New York City, N.Y., with his immediate family. Hogan Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., is in charge of arrangements.
Rufino Heredia was born March 3, 1957, in Puerto Rico, the son of Rufino and Carmen (Salicrup) Heredia.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and horseshoes, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved spending time with his many friends in Mason City.
He is survived by his special family in Mason City: Peggy Luna; Scott, Cindy, Billy and Mariah Knutson; Angie, Gabe, Hayley and Devin Sheahan; and Mike, Lisa, Josh, Jessica and Jenna Smith
