Brian W. Reynolds, 51, of Mason City, died Saturday, June 7, 2014, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Hanford Community Church, 12411 Spruce Ave., with the Rev. Paul Boostrom officiating.

Visitation will take place one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Brian W. Reynolds Memorial Fund. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.majorericksonfuneralhome.com

Brian was born July 19, 1962, in Stanton, Calif., the son of Allan and Velma (Kenward) Reynolds. He graduated from Mason City High School in 1982. Through the years Brian worked at Alexander Manufacturing Co., Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa, Kraft Foods, Pepsi Cola and NIVC. Brian was a member of Hanford Community Church. His church was an important part of his life. Some of his interests included playing video games, watching football, the Miami Dolphins were his favorite team and attending baseball games with his uncle, Harley.

Brian is survived by his mother, Velma Reynolds of Mason City; sister, Christina “CJ” (Matthew) Dodge of Mason City; brother, Raymond Reynolds of Fort Dodge; sister-in-law, Christie Reynolds of Nora Springs; nieces and nephews, Macy and Connor Dodge of Mason City, Robert Reynolds of New York, New York, April (Jacob) Reynolds Faas of Osage, Patty (Shane) Reynolds Fryhling of Mason City, Christal (Lee) Dutcher of Forest City; aunts, Joyce (Dennis) Larsen of Mason City, Karen (Chuck) Kuhl.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Allan Reynolds; grandparents, Harley and Pearl Reynolds and George and Verdie Kenward; two special uncles, Raymond Reynolds and Harley Kenward; many other aunts and uncles.
