Barbara Madeline Davis April 19, 1924 - November 11, 2017

Mason City - Barbara Madeline Davis, 93 of Mason City, died Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Heritage Care and Rehabilitation Center in Mason City.

A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St., Mason City. Inurnment will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City.

Barb was born on April 19, 1924, the daughter of Wesley Alexander and Pauline “Polly” (Williams) Burton in Haydock, Iowa. She married Earl Wayne Davis, and he preceded her in death on May 1, 2001.

A graduate of Haydock High School, Barb worked for Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in housekeeping for most of her life. She was a member of St. John's Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with friends earlier in life.

Barb is survived by her good friend and caregiver, Barbara Brown of Mason City; and her extended family, the Woolery's.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
