Delores Darlene Wagner, 88, a lifetime resident of Mason City, Iowa, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at I.O.O.F. Home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 with a one hour prior visitation at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E., Mason City. Chaplain Ed Bard from Hospice of North Iowa will be officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Delores was born on Dec. 14, 1927, in rural Mason City to Delbert Edward and Jennie Leone (Arndt) Wagner. She attended Mason City Schools and graduated from Mason City High School in 1945. For 50 years Delores was part-owner and office manager of Credit Bureau of Mason City. Delores was also a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. In her free time she enjoyed cross stitching and knitting. Delores also liked cooking and baking. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Delores was part of a bowling league at the Rose Bowl called “Mercy Mixers.”

She is survived by two sisters, Phyliss Preftakes and Beverly Kroll; three nieces: Terry (Jeff) Markham, Jean (Norman) Nordstrum and Robin (Randy) Bode; one nephew, Scott Kroll and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Jennie Wagner; two nephews, Michael Preftakes and Timothy Benton and two brothers-in-law, Alex Preftakes and Virgil Kroll.

In expression of sympathy memorials may be directed to Wesley United Methodist Church or Hospice of North Iowa.
