MASON CITY -- Mrs. Clarence J. (Annie U.) Ersland, 74, of 1544 N. Washington, died Monday, January 19, 1987) at a Mason City hospital.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania, with the Rev. Thomas J. Lewis, associate pastor, and the Rev. David Anderson, pastor of St. James Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 this afternoon until noon Wednesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 209 2nd NE.

The family request memorials be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.

She was born Dec. 28, 1912, in Walker to Bert G. and Jennie O. (Littlefield) Fleming. She attended school in New Hampton.

She married Clarence J. Ersland on Jan. 9, 1932, in Mason City.

For more than 20 years, Mrs. Ersland was the manager of Fannie Farmer Candies. She was a longtime member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Sarah Circle of the church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Caroline) Van Every, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Jerry (Coreen) Peckham, Mason City; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildre; two sisters, Mrs. Opal Reynolds, Dallas, Ore., and Mrs. Andrew (Florence) Haugsted, Halfway, Ore.; two brothers, Glenn Fleming, Mason City, and Floyd Fleming, Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister and three brothers.
