Sandra “Sandy” DeWilde, 72, of Clear Lake, Iowa died Thursday Sept. 3, 2015 at her home.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday Sept. 8, 2015 at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, Iowa with Rev. Dennis Ganz officiating. Family will greet friends one hour before the service. Family suggests memorials to the Preservation of Clear Lake.

Sandra was born March 3, 1943 in Marshalltown, Iowa the daughter of Frank W. and Wilma Lee (Koteck) Allen. She graduated from Mason City High School 1960.

Sandra married Tom DeWilde January 3, 1963. She enjoyed spending time with friends, boating on the Lake and their winters in Florida. She was an avid walker averaging five miles a day and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren playing cards and other games.

She was a member of the Clear Lake Yacht Club.

Sandra is survived by her two children Tamara (Daniel) Kroc, Libertyville, Il. and Jason DeWilde, Ankeny, IA.; grandchildren Ashley and Kelly Kroc and Ellen, Tommy and Andy DeWilde; father Frank Allen, Charles City, IA.; brother Scott (Kathy) Allen, Des Moines, IA.

She was preceded in death by her mother Wilma Allen; husband Tom DeWilde.
