“Clear Lake—The last services for the late Mrs. L. G. Hollister were held Saturday at the home on North Third street. Rev. Gillies of the First Methodist Episcopal church was in charge of the services. A large company of friends were gathered to pay the last tribute to one of Clear Lake’s most valued and best loved citizens. Mrs. Hollister was a resident of Clear Lake for many years, having taught school in her youth, here she remained. For several years she has been an invalid gradually failing until her death last Thursday. Her loss will be felt in the whole community. Interment was made in the Hollister family vault in the Clear Lake cemetery.”
