MASON CITY - Joshua Lee Frank, 20, of 805 12th St. N.E., died Monday (Oct. 21, 2002).

His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E. in Mason City. Interment will follow at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City.

Visitation was held Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Joshua Lee Frank Memorial Fund.

Josh was born June 10, 1982, in Mason City, the son of John and Lanora (Graves) Frank. He attended Mason City Public Schools, graduating from Mason City High School in 2001.

Josh was active in athletics during high school, participating in basketball, football and track. He was a three-year letter winner in track and ran in the Drake Relays.

Josh continued to enjoy sports after graduation, playing basketball at the YMCA in Mason City. He also enjoyed playing Frisbee golf in East Park, hunting, fishing and hanging out with his friends.

Josh will be greatly missed by his mother, Lanora L. Frank, of Mason City; his father, John P. Frank and his wife, Julie, of Mason City; his sister, Jennifer Lea Frank, of Mason City; his grandparents, Delia Deeny, Calvin Huff and Helen Gray; four uncles, Gene Alexander, his wife, Kathy, and their children, Tracy, Tyler and Terry; Steve Graves and his children, Windy and her husband, John Cork, Brandy and her husband, Jeff Werstein, and Michael and his wife, Heather Graves; Mike Smith, his wife, Terry, and their children, John, Beth and James; and Mark Frank, his wife, Julie, and their children, Dakota and Kyle; three aunts, Jan Bouska, her husband, Alan, and their children, Gary and his wife, Shannon Graves, Sunny and her husband, Seth Schultz, and Mindy Miller and Sam Groff; Cindy Kephart and her children, A.J. and his wife, Katie Leichtnam, and Mike Wolken; and Debbie Harriman, her husband, Glen, and their children, Brant and Brooke. He is also survived by his cousins, Lisa Read and Tammy Addkisson and her husband, Shane, his second-cousins, Haley, Chase, Isaiah, Hailey, Abby, Zach, Devon, Austin, Mikayla, Conner, Austin, Alex, Bailey, Alexis, Seth Jr., Sierra, Larry, Alyssa, Jessy and Katie Jo; a step-grandparent, Lu Rubio; a step-uncle, Joe Rubio, and his wife, Sharon; two step-aunts, Juanita Rubio and Lola Kurlansky, her husband, Alan, and their children, Ahsiya and Jilan, and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Frank; an aunt, Patty Read, and an uncle, Gary Graves.
