MASON CITY -- Hester Mae Arnold, 84, of 501 S. Kentucky Ave., died Sunday (May 5, 1996) at Heritage Care Center.

Private graveside services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.

There will be no visitation. Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., is in charge of arrangements.

Hester Mae Arnold was born Oct. 27, 1911, at Lincoln, Mo., a daughter of William L. and Ida C. (Davis) Huffman. She married Lynn Alva Arnold on Oct. 10, 1928, in Mason City.

Hester grew up in Mason City and graduated from Mason City High School. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include one son, Duane Arnold of Mason City; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lynn; and one son, Randall Arnold.
